EmpowerHer is designed for migrant women who want to make their skills visible, build confidence, and move towards new professional or personal goals. To support this, the project offers three key components: the EmpowerHer ProfilPASS, the interactive WebApp, and a complementary training programme.
The ProfilPASS for Migrant Women supports users in reflecting on their experiences and identifying their competences. It helps to recognise, name, and structure skills – including those gained through everyday life, migration, family responsibilities, or community engagement. It also guides users in setting goals and planning next steps. The ProfilPASS is currently available in German, English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Greek, and will soon also be available in Russian and Arabic.
The EmpowerHer WebApp complements this process with practical, interactive learning. It focuses on key competences such as communication, cultural sensitivity, teamwork, problem-solving, and digital skills. Users can assess their level and work step by step on developing specific skills. The WebApp is available free of charge and in German, English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Greek.
A key strength of EmpowerHer is the combination of both tools: while the ProfilPASS helps identify existing skills, the WebApp provides opportunities to practise and further develop them.
In addition, EmpowerHer offers a Training Programme with six thematically aligned modules, enabling adult educators to guide and support migrant women on their pathway into the labour market.
