The Circular Business Models in Social Enterprises toolkit is designed for social enterprises that want to explore the potential of the circular economy and gain inspiration for the furtherdevelopment of their work. It introduces key principles of the circular economy and presents practical methods – including design thinking tools – to support organisations in developingtheir own sustainable ideas and approaches.
Through four case studies from Poland, Germany, Italy, and Austria, the toolkit illustrates how social enterprises in fields such as gastronomy, textile reuse, and educational work engagewith and integrate circular practices. The toolkit is complemented by practical guidelines, SMART planning tools, and a wide range of suggestions to help organisations reflect on and strengthen their ecological, social, and economic impact.
