On 6 September, we experienced captivating stories, exciting workshops and inspiring conversations at our storytelling festival, organised together with the Leipzig Adult Education Centre VHS.
We thank our three great storytellers:
Carmela Marinelli
After studying translation in Italy, Carmela discovered her passion for storytelling in Berlin. She is a trained theatre teacher and completed a certificate course in artistic storytelling at Berlin Career College. Since then, she has been passionate about this art form. Carmela tells fairy tales, myths and personal stories in several languages and offers programmes for all ages. She also trains educators, teachers and other interested parties in the art of storytelling and is a founding member of ERZÄHLRAUM e.V. in Saxony.
Martin Ellrodt
Martin Ellrodt is an experienced storyteller who tells stories from oral tradition, world literature and those he has found himself. He has been active in the performing arts since 1987 and specialises in artistic and multilingual oral storytelling. Martin is active worldwide, gives workshops and enjoys collaborating with artists from other disciplines. He inspires his audiences with a lively and creative storytelling style that engages people of all ages.
